All rates are based on double occupancy per night, and include breakfast. There is a $30/night charge for each additional person, regardless of age. Rates are subject to change without notice, but the rate that was in effect at time of your reservation will be honored for your stay. All lodging and additional food & beverage, is subject to the prevailing Maine State Sales Tax.
The amount of the first night's stay, per room, is due at the time of reservation. This deposit will be taken via credit or debit card and the balance will be due at check-in. We accept AmEx, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover credit and debit cards; Diners Club is not accepted. Personal checks or PayPal payments may be made by pre-arrangement, and cash is always welcome!
Because our inn is small, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy, and ask that you please let us know as soon as possible if you plan to cancel. Cancellation notice before 7pm EST on the 14th day before the reservation date will have the full deposit refunded. Canceling after this time will result in a forfeit of the deposit. Cancellation notice on the day of your arrival will be treated as a "no show" below.
A no-show or a notice of cancellation on the day of arrival, will result in your debit/credit card being charged for the balance of the full reservation.
Departing earlier than your planned departure date will not result in a refund of the balance of your reservation.
A 2-night minimum stay is required for reservations that span a Friday or Saturday. This is waived for reservations made within 7 days of arrival. A 3-night minimum is required for reservations that occur during special events, certain dates and holidays. Examples of these include the Fryeburg Fair, parent/camp weekends, leaf season and the Christmas holidays.
We are a smoke and tobacco-free Inn. A $300 cleaning charge may be levied to any guest found smoking/chewing within any of the Old Saco Inn buildings. Should you wish to smoke or chew, pleas do so outside the buildings where ashtrays are provided for the smokers. Please do not litter and please do not smoke near the buildings, the forest, the woodpiles, or other guests.
Well-behaved children are always welcome, but since guests come to the Inn for peace and relaxation, noisy, boisterous, ill mannered, crying, or otherwise unmanageable children may be asked to leave. We do not have cribs or high-chairs and do not provide special meals for children.
Regrettably, we do not accommodate pets, no matter how small, cute and cuddly they may be.
